What's all this fuss about Golf Fitness?

Now, if you've arrived at our website, you might be wondering, what’s all this fuss about Golf Fitness?

How important is it really?

Isn’t Golf Fitness just for elite players and Tour Pros?

Absolutely not.

Make no mistake, golfers of every level are athletes and an effective golf swing requires a great deal of athleticism.

Flexibility, stability, strength, power, balance, core strength, body awareness, even endurance ...

They're all required to play consistent, high quality golf.

Which means improvements in any one of these physical qualities can translate straight onto the course as improvements in ball-striking, lower scores and less pain …

**

Add to this the array of ‘Physical Limitations’ that the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) has identified as being directly related to certain Swing Faults in their Body-Swing Connection system.

Think about that for a second: the Swing Fault you have been battling throughout your golfing life may due to a ‘Physical Limitation’

TPI has analyzed the biomechanics of exactly how ‘Physical Limitations’ in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

That’s right, your body may have been the problem all this time!

That’s about enough for today …

But I’ll leave you with my thoughts of where we are at with Golf Fitness:

For golfers looking to improve, a Golf Fitness Program can no longer be seen as an unnecessary add-on to their swing coaching & practice routine.

And in order to improve performance in any sport, fitness training must be specific to the demands of the game involved.

A ‘General Fitness Program’ just won’t cut it anymore.

If you want to shoot lower scores you need to take a different approach.

A more Golf-Specific approach.

If you have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks again, and great to have you aboard!

Cheers

Andrew
