Golfer's Edge | The Fitness Advantage

What happened to KO ...? (exercises included)...

These are the emails I love to get ...

Sometimes you can predict them, sometimes not.

For Golfer's Edge client KO (protecting his anonymity here ...), it was clear he was about to put something awesome together.

He had already had three or four rounds with a great score on the front or back 9, but without being able to back it up on the other 9 ...

It was coming ...(and I'll tell you how he got there below ...)

"...Hi Andrew - had to tell you re Wednesday golf - 39pts, hit 12 fairways with the driver, hit all the par 3s off the tee and hit 9 greens in regulation. Unfortunately something had to go wrong and it was the flat stick - 36 putts...I didn’t think that I putted that bad but they add up pretty quick..."

That is some very solid, very consistent ball-striking.

Exactly the kind of numbers you need to play to single figures ...

Which is where KO is headed.

But probably the most pleasing thing about KO's Golf Fitness Program RESULTS ...

It has pervaded all areas of his LIFE.

He feels AMAZING for having started an exercise program.

He has mentioned more than once that he feels stronger EVERYWHERE ...

Work is easier. He is sleeping better. He has more ENERGY. And he is clearly playing better golf.

KO told me during his workout last week that he wishes he had found a program like this 20 years ago !!!

(The lesson here of course is don't put things off !!)

Just how good is KO feeling about his Golf Fitness Program:

"...Just finished a workout feeling 200% and can’t wait for golf this Sunday..."

How did KO get there?

A Screening, an Individualised Program ...

Then he put in the work.

5 days of flexibility, 3 days of strength per week ...

The two critical things KO has worked super hard on:

1- As a slicer we needed to separate KO's lower body from his upper body so he could sequence his downswing correctly. He now hits a strong fade in the fairway 12/14 times.

Try These: Lower Body Stork Turns holding a Golf Club, progress to Lateral Step Ups with Lower Body Rotation

2- KO needed more lower body strength to provide more stability and to drive more power and club head speed.

Try These: Body-weight split squat (progress to dumbbells), Bilateral goblet squat (with heels up if you struggle to stay balanced properly)
